Off
to Coral Bay, and we sang the wiggles rendition in the car,”Where on our way to
Coral Bay”, quite funny really. This was only about 1.5 hour drive so before we
took off we did groceries and Oliver hates this part,”What we need more food”,
“well yes, your eating it aren’t you”, is what we would say to Oliver. We said
to the kids they could all go to the souveiner shop and spend some money that
Nana and Buzz gave them for the trip. Dylan of course wanted a turtle, a memory
that will stay with him forever and Oliver wanted a mini turtle too, lily chose
a Ningaloo Reef glitter cup,its very colourful. Arrived in Coral Bay and went
to the first caravan park and guess what couldn’t get in, either power or non
power. Oh dear there was only 1 other park and if we cant get in then we’ll
have to move on. Tried the Bayview Holiday park and yes they have a powered
site and amazing they don’t charge for Lily. Some parks charge up to $10 a
child and that’s lily too, but here no, its $5 a child. Got a site under a
shaded tree and we can see the beach from Mark’s bedroom window. The sites are
so close to each another, that we can almost touch the lady next to us on the
head when she sits outside. So its keep quiet in your tent, in otherwords,Mark
was nudged not to snore. We set up and of course boys wanted beach and Lily
pool so we departed ways, I went to pool with lily and Mark snorkeling with the
boys. So a couple of hours doing that and the boys return to tell me the annexe
has blown down as the wind had come up. We put another side on to stop the wind
getting underneath and blowing it off. It worked perfectly, all good. Uno continued tonight as we hadn’t had
any games for awhile due to the fact we were always so tired but we had an
early dinner and were organized for a change. Dylan finally won about 4 games
to try and catch up. Well done Dylan.
