Coral Bay

Day 1, a full day at Coral Bay,ha that rhymes. Pancake breakie thanks to Mark and then a stroll over the road to the shops, well its like 5 shops but a very nice bakery. Lily and I look in a girly shop and Lily buys a shiny disco ball, which is actually a key ring but she wants it for her dolls house as a party disco ball hanging from the ceiling. Boys sit with Mark out the front and eat from the bakery. Back for a snorkel, I think, so down the beach, which is a matter of 50 steps, and we are there. Again, Lily builds and boys snorkel, and myself well again, sunning myself. (With sunscreen) I help lily with a couple of her castles. Back for lunch and then pool, this pool is heated so it’s not refreshing at all and Mark refuses to go in it. Boy’s play and Lily just loves being underwater. Mum and Buzz you’ll notice a huge difference when she begins swimming in your pool, she jumps in the deep end and just swims, no bubble, we ditched that and she pops up and just swims to the side. She’s really confident now. Our days seem to be beach, lunch pool. At 3.30pm each day down the beach they feed the king emperor snapper fish and you can go get some special pellets off this guy and they swim through your feet and sometimes even touch you, quite funny really. There sometimes appears a rainbow fish, which is so pretty. Hard to get a good photo when it’s so fun to just watch them. More digging in the sand for Lily and making animals, we made a giraffe and a fish. Lily had a massive wobbly down the beach when Oliver took her spade, we let her go and let everybody see what she was doing, going ape. In the end we got video of it, so it’s a good one to keep for later in life. Here Lily look at what you looked like when you went bright red and kicked and screamed. Back to camp, and kids all went to the park together, Mark and I, went to see the sun go down on the beach, just the two of us, with a drink in tow, lovely once again. On the way down the beach we saw these guys who had been fishing and caught Mackerel and huge Red Emperor Snapper and they were cutting it all up and offered Mark some Mackerel, as he hadn’t tasted it before. Maybe tomorrow night he can eat it. It was only a steak he gave him as this guy gave out a few to people. To have too much fish, how lucky were they.
Dusk when the kids came back and Lily always seems to find little kids to play with, Kayla, this time at the park. Its hard for the boys as there isn’t too many their age due to school, but if you go to the park around 4pm you get the local kids after school.
Fish feeding at 3.30pm at Coral Bay
After dinner Uno started up again, Dylan and Oliver winning and Mark disappointed now he’s coming 3rd
